well, while waiting for perfection and upgrades, i've gone ahead and dubbed my perfectly serviceable old tapes for you. let me know where to send them. here's the relevant info from the jerry site:

01/07/76 Club Front, San Rafael, CA看看top
Set One:看看(14 songs - 93 minutes)
Instrumental (1)
Tico Tico Tuning
Your Brother's Killer
Something You've Got >
Just A Closer Walk With Thee >
Goodnight Irene >
Just A Closer Walk With Thee
Goodnight Irene
Goodnight Irene
United Our Thing Will Stand
Classified >
Right Place At The Wrong Time >
Slowly But Surely (1)
Slowly But Surely
Comments: James Booker on piano and vocals. A studio rehearsal, most likely at Club Front but not for sure. The beginning if Instrumental is cut. (1) false start.
Recordings:
93 SBD (DAT: MSR>?C>D)
Contributors: Adrian Spidle, Ryan Shriver

My tape lists Sophie's, Palo Alto, but Club Front makes at least as much sense.

Also, it's funny that they list Tico Tico as a "tuning" - something it only becomes after this point as Jerry endlessly rehearses his lesson from James. Also, the next song is called Your Brother's Keeper, not Killer. Banter on the tape and a misspeak by Booker contribute to that.

01/09/76 The Big Beat, Palo Alto, CA看看top
Set One:看看(7 songs - 54 minutes)
All By Myself
Goodnight Irene
Fur Elise (1)
Slowly But Surely
Please Send Me Someone To Love
It Takes A Lot To Laugh It Takes A Train To Cry
Tore Up Over You
Set Two: 看看(7 songs - 68 minutes)
Neighbor Neighbor
United, Our Thing Will Stand
Classified >
Please Come Home
Fandango
Let It Rock
(I'm A) Road Runner
Comments: James Booker on piano and vocals. (1) only James Booker. The end of Neighbor Neighbor and Train To Cry are cut as well as the beginning of Tore Up Over You. Fandango is spliced. The analog copy has the end of Fandango cut and is missing Let It Rock and (I'm A) Road Runner. DB's list for this show is a duplication of 07/08/76 and incorrect.
Recordings:
122 SBD (DAT: MSR>?C>D), 90 SBD
Contributors:
Gordon Sharpless, Adrian Spidle, Ryan Shriver

This one I also always had as at Sophie's, but I believe this. In many ways, I like the rehearsal better. Booker's not fully plugged in at first and the audience quickly gets reckless. He basically highjacks the gig, especially on the uncut part of the tape. Lots of cuts throughout as if made especially for Booker fans. After Please Come Home the rest of the show is not there on my tape, and I think Neighbor, Neighbor is missing too.

01/10/76 Sophie's, Palo Alto, CA看看top
Set One:看看(6 songs)
All By Myself
Right Place Wrong Time
You Are My Sunshine
Tore Up Over You
It Takes A Lot To Laugh It Takes A Train To Cry
Let It Rock
Set Two: 看(2 songs)
Slowly But Surely
(I'm A) Road Runner
Comments: James Booker on piano and vocals. This was a two-set show, but all that is available are the songs from Set 2 above. Slowly But Surely is spliced and the end of Road Runner is cut. Set 1 provided by ftp.gdead.berkely.edu.
Recordings:
25 SBD (DAT: MSR>?C>D)
Contributors:
Ryan Shriver, ftp.gdead.berkeley.edu

This is the one I don't have. I'd love to hear Jerry jamming out Right Place, Wrong Time and You Are My Sunshine! Something to look forward to since it appears to circulate.
